For me, everdell is beautiful, and bloated. Seems like you could choose a card .... and the card needed to get it to work never appears. A lot of cards is good for variety, but given the strategy needed, seems too unlikely to actually get the card you need. It just might never appear. I’d play it some more, but I won’t ask for it personally.

I too have picked up vault of dragons and look forward to trying it. When can you come teach it?

Dinogenics is one that I was glad I kickstarted. Other than the occasional runaway leader problem, it is very enjoyable. I am very selective on what I use my Kickstarter funds for.

Hey Scott I sympathize on your BattleTech KS single shipment. In my lack of control I’ve kickstarted over 400 games since 2019, and this was on of my grave errors. I’m still waiting on Tainted Grail, Etherfields and others because I chose single shipment. It’s saddening when you’re a backer and see all these people posting online all the great games you helped get produced, but you’re still waiting because of a shipment choice.

Glad to hear you liked Dinogenics. I have a huge collection of dinosaur games, mainly because my daughter said she wanted to be a paleontologist when she graduated kindergarten;so I went crazy. Two great dino games I’d suggest is Escape from 100 Million BC which is a tile exploration coop adventure game trying to find and reassemble the time machine, at the same time try to lead iconic characters back thru time-rifts they entered. The other is Apex Theropod deck builder.

Patrick Too Many Bones is one of my favorite games. Extremely difficult to get started because each Gearloc has very special abilities and the strategy to win with each takes a good number of tries. Once you find the way to win with the one Gearloc and decide to switch, it’s like going back to kindergarten learning all over again. I normally play solo but with two Gearlocs which adds difficulty but I have a higher win %. Enjoy and don’t give up on the game. It’s awesome.
